The Eldorado Ballroom is a two-story building of white brick and stucco, identifiable by its curved corner and Streamline Moderne style. Located on the corner of Elgin Street and Emancipation Avenue, the structure features ground-floor storefronts beneath a second-floor dance hall that once served as a primary cultural hub for Black Houstonians during the Jim Crow era.
