Plaza San Martín functions as the primary urban respite in Puerto Iguazú, characterized by its wide, open walkways and illuminated fountains. Inaugurated on August seventeen, nineteen fifty, the square marks seventy-four years of history within the city. Teachers Sergio Nelio Ortiz and Carlota Jara led the original project, planting the trees that still provide shade for those passing through.
