The Arcade du Cinquantenaire is defined by its massive triple arch, topped with a bronze sculpture of a female charioteer raising a national flag. This monument anchors the center of the Parc du Cinquantenaire, standing as a centerpiece of a project commissioned by King Leopold II to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Belgian Revolution.
