Casa de Nariño

The Casa de Nariño is the official residence and primary office of the President of Colombia. You can identify the structure by its neoclassical façade of carved stone and the presence of the Thirty-seventh Infantry Presidential Guard Battalion, which stands watch over the grounds. The building occupies the specific site where Antonio Nariño, a central figure in the movement for Colombian independence, was born in seventeen sixty-five.
