The Black Square, known locally as Den Sorte Plads, is defined by its dark, geometric surface marked by sweeping white lines that cut across the ground. Opened in two thousand twelve, this space forms the central portion of the Superkilen park, which spans seven hundred fifty meters through the Nørrebro district. The area was designed by the architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group, landscape architects Topotek One, and the artist collective Superflex to unify one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in Denmark.
