Wilgart is identifiable by the steady hum of a sewing machine and the sight of caps being crafted by hand in a workshop at the rear of the boutique. This small shop on Jægersborggade is the only remaining cap-making workshop in Denmark. It was founded by Silas Skram, who revived the craft after the profession largely vanished from the country by the mid-nineties.
