Le Dôme de Marseille

other

The Dôme de Marseille is a concert hall defined by a roof that curves like the hull of an overturned ship, held up by an arch reaching twenty-seven meters high. Opened in nineteen ninety-four, the structure is so reminiscent of maritime craft that it was actually constructed by the Saint-Malo shipyard. Located on the Esplanade Saint-Just, it stands out for this unusual design and its sheer scale, housing a modular interior that can accommodate up to eight thousand five hundred spectators.
