The Writers' House of Georgia is a mansion characterized by its Art Nouveau architecture and a terrace floor covered in rare, custom-made Villeroy and Boch ceramic tiles. Built between nineteen oh three and nineteen oh five for the brandy magnate David Sarajishvili, the house blends Georgian and European styles. It was designed by the German architect Carl Zaar in collaboration with Tbilisi-based architects Aleksander Ozerov and Korneli Tatishev, featuring intricate wooden interiors crafted by Ilia Mamatsashvili.
