The Agung Rai Museum of Art, often called ARMA, is a sprawling cultural complex defined by its series of palatial pavilions designed in traditional Balinese style. Set among landscaped gardens, water features, and terraced rice fields, the museum opened on June ninth, nineteen ninety-six. Its founder, Agung Rai, was a local art dealer who spent decades collecting Balinese paintings that had been taken abroad, eventually bringing them home to create this permanent repository.
