Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal

Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal is defined by its moss-covered shrines, ornate stone carvings of demons, and decorative gateways tucked into a dense jungle environment. Known locally as the Great Temple of Death, this Balinese Hindu site is located within the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in the village of Padangtegal. Built around thirteen fifty during the era of the Pejeng Dynasty, it stands as one of the oldest religious sites in the Ubud region.
