Omah UGM is a traditional Javanese joglo house tucked away in the narrow alleys of the Bodon hamlet in Jagalan. Its most striking feature is the iconic, multi-tiered roof structure, which historically signaled the social and economic standing of its owners. While it now functions as a center for heritage education managed by the Department of Architecture and Planning at Gadjah Mada University, the property was once the private residence of Parto Darsono, a local batik and silver entrepreneur.
