Báite - Viking Longboat (1988) by Betty Newman Maguire

You will recognize the sculpture Báite by its skeletal appearance, formed from steel ribs that trace the curved hull of a Viking longboat. Spanning thirty-five feet in length, the piece is fabricated from Corten steel with bronze terminals and native oak seats, creating a vessel that rests permanently on the ground at Wood Quay.
