Metzitzim Beach is marked by a wide expanse of sand tucked just south of the Tel Aviv Port, where a stone breakwater creates a calm, shallow swimming area. While many city beaches take their names from nearby streets or hotels, this one is named after an iconic nineteen seventy-two Israeli comedy, Metzitzim, which translates to Peeping Toms.
