Rabin Square

Rabin Square is a vast, open plaza in central Tel Aviv, instantly recognizable by the large, modernist block of the Tel Aviv City Hall building rising above its northern edge. Designed by architects Yaski and Alexandroni and completed in nineteen sixty-four, the square was originally named Kings of Israel Square. For decades, it has served as the city’s primary gathering ground for political rallies, military exhibitions, and public celebrations.
