Baia Trentaremi

viewpoint

Baia Trentaremi is a secluded natural amphitheater defined by towering cliffs of yellow volcanic tuff that plunge directly into the intense blue water. Located along the Posillipo coast, the bay is inaccessible by land and is most often reached by kayak or boat. The steep rock walls rise as high as one hundred fifty meters, their surfaces scarred by ancient quarrying that once supplied materials for Roman construction throughout the region.
