The Palazzo dell'Orologio is defined by the arched passageway at its center, which connects two medieval stone structures and supports a small, prominent bell tower added in sixteen ninety-six. This building in the Piazza dei Cavalieri stands on an ancient site inhabited since Etruscan times, though its current form took shape between sixteen oh five and sixteen oh eight. It was created by joining a former captain's residence on the left with the notorious Torre dei Gualandi on the right.
