Ninomaru Garden

Ninomaru Garden is a landscape defined by a large pond with a convoluted shoreline and three central islands. It sits immediately outside the Ninomaru Palace of Nijo Castle, serving as a classic example of a strolling garden. The garden features a three-stepped waterfall in the northeast and is notable for its deliberate placement of large, colorful stones along the pond's edge and slopes.
