Wisma Ekran is defined by a graceful, sweeping curve where Jalan Tangsi meets Jalan Parlimen. Completed in nineteen thirty-seven, this three-storey building was designed by the British architect Arthur Oakley Coltman in an eclectic Art Deco style. Its exterior features a finish of Shanghai plaster, and the main entrance doors were originally panelled with hammered pewter, a nod to the building’s history as the headquarters for Anglo-Oriental Mining Corporation.
