Plaza San Jacinto is marked by the presence of surrounding colonial-era mansions and the nearby sixteenth-century Parroquia de San Jacinto. While it functions as a peaceful, tree-lined garden today, it is also defined by a stone plaque and a bust of John Riley that honor the Saint Patrick's Battalion.
