Kotor Town Walls

The Kotor Town Walls are defined by their dramatic, serpentine path that stretches nearly four and a half kilometers, rising steeply from the water’s edge to the peak of Saint John’s Hill. This fortification system creates a massive, protective enclosure around the old town, featuring bastions, gates, and ramparts that climb over two hundred meters up the limestone slopes.
