The Yuzui, or "fish mouth," is a long, narrow levee stretching over five hundred meters across the Minjiang River. Its upstream tip is shaped like a conical fish head, which gives the structure its name. This levee serves as the primary water-dividing point for the Dujiangyan Irrigation System, splitting the river into inner and outer channels.
