Larcomar

Larcomar is defined by its unusual vertical design, built directly into the steep sandstone cliffs that overlook the Pacific Ocean in Miraflores. While most shopping centers rise above street level, this complex descends down the cliffside in a series of cascading terraces. Because the structure is tucked into the side of the bluff, it remains nearly invisible to those walking along the top until they reach the edge and look down into the open-air plazas.
