The Palacio Municipal de Miraflores stands at four hundred Larco Avenue, identifiable by the tall corner tower that overlooks the Central Park. This four-story structure, built from brick and reinforced concrete, houses the local government of the Miraflores district. Architect Luis Miró Quesada Garland, known as Cartucho, designed the building in a neocolonial style, winning a competition for the project before it opened on July twenty-eighth, nineteen forty-four.
