Constitution Square in Warsaw is defined by its massive, uniform buildings clad in sandstone, granite, and clinker brick. Completed in nineteen fifty-two, this square serves as the centerpiece of the Marszałkowska Residential District. It was designed in the style of socialist realism, featuring six and seven-story structures adorned with carved bas-reliefs that depict representatives of the working class, such as steelworkers and farmers. Three large, ornate candelabra pillars stand on the square, illuminating the area after dark.
