Queen's Beach

natural

Queen’s Beach is a rocky, pebbly cove tucked just off the Sea Point Promenade in Cape Town. It is distinguished by its shoreline of dark, contorted stone and a shallow gully that locals use for swimming, even if the Atlantic waters remain cold. The beach takes its name from the former Queen’s Hotel, which once stood nearby and later became the President Hotel.
