Templo Romano

historic

The Templo Romano is defined by several tall, white marble Corinthian columns that rise above street level, catching the light against the surrounding buildings. This site marks the location of the provincial forum of Corduba, which served as the capital of the Roman province of Baetica. While Roman remains exist throughout the city, this structure represents the most significant temple complex discovered in Córdoba to date.
