The Eventim Apollo is a Grade II* listed Art Deco landmark featuring bold, vertical columns and a distinct marquee that light up in changing colors. Designed by architect Robert Cromie and opened in nineteen thirty-two as the Gaumont Palace cinema, it remains one of the largest and best-preserved original theaters in the United Kingdom. Its massive, fan-shaped auditorium was built to seat nearly three thousand five hundred people, yet it retains a sense of intimacy due to its specific sightlines and acoustics.
