The Luxor Hotel and Casino is defined by a thirty-story pyramid clad in reflective black glass. Opened on October fifteen, nineteen ninety-three, the resort was developed by Circus Circus Enterprises as a centerpiece of the city's themed-resort era. Its design, inspired by the ancient city of Luxor in Egypt, features a massive replica of the Great Sphinx of Giza at its entrance. Inside, the structure contains an expansive atrium measuring twenty-nine million cubic feet.
