The Shops at Crystals is defined by its exterior of faceted, stainless-steel-clad volumes that catch and refract light from every angle. Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind and opened in two thousand nine, the structure occupies an entire city block on the Las Vegas Strip. Its exterior features nineteen separate roofs that overlap and tilt at irregular intervals, intended to contrast with the more uniform glass facades of the surrounding high-rise buildings in the CityCenter complex.
