Paris Las Vegas

The Paris Las Vegas hotel and casino is marked by a massive, five hundred and forty-foot tall replica of the Eiffel Tower that rises directly above the Las Vegas Strip. Opened on September first, nineteen ninety-nine, the resort was designed to bring the atmosphere of Paris, France, to Nevada. Its exterior also features scaled versions of the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, and the Paris Opera House, while the interior recreates nineteenth-century Parisian streetscapes complete with cobblestone pathways and a sky-painted ceiling.
