St. Sargis Vicarial Church is distinguished by an exterior of polished orange tuff stone, accented by triangular niches and intricate sculptural reliefs. It occupies the edge of the Hrazdan River gorge in the historic Dzoragyugh district of Yerevan and serves as the seat of the Araratian Pontifical Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
