The Casa Museo Trude Sojka is housed in the former residence and art studio of the Czech-Ecuadorian artist Trude Sojka. A survivor of the Holocaust who arrived in Quito in nineteen forty-six, Sojka spent her later years creating hundreds of sculptures and paintings here, often using Portland cement and salvaged items like motor parts or glass handles to form her work.
