Ferial Garden sits on a rocky bluff overlooking the Nile, distinguishable by its elevated position above the riverbank and the dense, lush tree cover that contrasts sharply with the surrounding desert landscape. The garden was created by King Farouk in honor of his daughter, Princess Ferial, to provide a green space along the city's edge.
