The Rhein-Seilbahn is a cable car system identifiable by its line of four-person gondolas, which glide across the Rhine River at a height of roughly forty meters. It holds the distinction of being the first cable car in Europe built to span a major river, originally constructed for the nineteen fifty-seven Federal Garden Show.
