The Archaeological Museum of Thera holds a collection that spans from the Archaic to the Roman periods of the island. It is recognizable by its mid-twentieth-century design, constructed in nineteen sixty to replace the original building that collapsed during the nineteen fifty-six Amorgos earthquake.
