Labor Movement Pantheon

The Labor Movement Pantheon, located within the Fiumei Road National Graveyard, is identifiable by a central bronze sculpture of three figures standing before a mausoleum. Inaugurated in nineteen fifty-nine, the structure was designed by architect József Körner to serve as a burial place for prominent members of the Hungarian socialist movement. The central monument, sculpted by Zoltán Olcsai-Kiss, features an inscription carved above the entrance declaring that those buried within "lived for communism and the people."
