Established in nineteen thirty-six, the shop holds a collection of books ranging from history and philosophy to Hindi literature and global fiction. A framed photograph of the store's founder, Amrit Dhar Nullay, hangs on the wall behind the counter, positioned near a miniature temple and a poster of deities.
