IIWC - Indian Institute of World Culture

The Indian Institute of World Culture is a heritage-listed building in Basavanagudi known for its long, thick-walled structure and wide stairs. It was founded on August eleventh, nineteen forty-five, by theosophist B. P. Wadia and his wife, Sophia Wadia. The institute was established during the final days of the Second World War as a center intended to foster a cosmopolitan spirit and promote the study of literature, history, science, and the fine arts among the general public.
