Shri Doddabasavanna Temple

The Shri Doddabasavanna Temple, commonly known as the Bull Temple, is identified by the massive, monolithic granite statue of Nandi, the sacred bull of Lord Shiva, housed within its shrine. Constructed in fifteen thirty-seven by Kempe Gowda, the founder of Bengaluru, this structure features traditional Dravidian architecture and serves as a significant historical landmark in the Basavanagudi area.
