Khwaju Kermani Tomb

The tomb of the fourteenth-century Persian poet Khwaju Kermani sits in an unroofed enclosure on the hillside of Sabooy, overlooking the Allahu Akbar Gorge in Shiraz. The burial site is distinguished by two stone columns standing at the upper and lower ends of a convex grave, which bears no name but is inscribed with a verse from the Quran.
