Keshish House

The Keshish House in the Jolfa neighborhood of Isfahan is easily identified by its four high wooden pillars supporting a platform, which is decorated with wooden frames that resemble a chessboard. This structure was the home of Gargin Hananian, a priest of the local Armenian community who passed away in nineteen forty and was buried beside the belfry of the nearby Vank Church.
