Sang Tarashha

Sang Tarashha is a historic alley located within the Jolfa neighborhood of Isfahan. The name translates to the stonemasons' quarter, reflecting a time when artisans and craftsmen lived and worked along these narrow, cobblestone paths. These streets are situated near the Armenian district established during the Safavid dynasty, a period when Shah Abbas the First resettled Armenian communities to bolster local industry and trade.
