Via Antonio Discovolo

Via Antonio Discovolo is the primary artery of Manarola, a street created by surfacing the channel of the Groppo stream that once ran through the center of the village. It descends from the upper reaches of the town toward the harbor, flanked by traditional Genoese tower houses. These colorful, densely packed buildings distinguish the street, often appearing in photographs of the village’s steep, cliff-side profile.
