Parroquia Santa Teresita

The Parroquia Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús is the focal point of the popular Guadalajara neighborhood known to locals as Santa Tere. The current church structure was built between nineteen thirty-nine and nineteen forty-seven under the direction of the engineer Luis Ugarte. Its establishment in the nineteen thirties helped define the character of the surrounding residential area as it grew outward from the city center during the first half of the twentieth century.
