The Cinéma Colisée is recognized by its Art Deco facade and its position along Boulevard Mohammed Zerktouni in the Guéliz district. Opened in nineteen fifty-three, this theater was designed by the French architect Georges Peynet, who also created several notable cinemas in Paris, including the Max Linder and the Paramount-Elysées.
