Poste Centrale

The Poste Centrale in Guéliz stands on the Place du seize novembre, marked by its distinctive administrative scale that separates it from the residential architecture of the surrounding district. While Guéliz was developed during the French protectorate to provide a modern, European-style extension to the city, this building represents a later phase of that growth. Work on this central post office began in nineteen fifty-seven, and the doors opened to the public in nineteen fifty-nine.
