Caravan Cafe and Rooftop occupies a historic building situated within the Boudhanath kora, the sacred circumambulatory path circling the great Boudhanath Stupa. It is recognized as one of the two oldest structures in this area, having originally been owned by a Tamang lama. The building now houses an intimate bistro and gallery that overlooks the stupa, with a layout that includes a rooftop space for viewing the surrounding cityscape.
