Mutrah Souq

Mutrah Souq is defined by a dense, labyrinthine network of narrow alleys roofed with timber, which block out so much sunlight that locals historically dubbed it Souq Al-Dhalam, or the Market of Darkness. You can distinguish this entrance area by the way the shadowed, crowded passageways contrast with the bright, open waterfront of the Mutrah Corniche nearby.
