Tonggui Bridge is a single-arch stone bridge that spans the Shantang River in the Gusu District. It stands out because of its elegant, high-arched shape, which mirrors its own reflection in the canal water to form a perfect, glowing circle. Built during the Ming Dynasty between fourteen eighty-eight and fifteen zero five, the bridge was funded by the government minister Wu Yipeng. Its name, which means "Noble Passage," marks its historical position as a connector between elite residences and the dense commercial activity of the surrounding district.
