Chengdu Art Academy Art Gallery

The Chengdu Art Academy occupies a cluster of traditional buildings arranged in a quadrangle, a form characteristic of western Sichuan historic houses dating from the late Qing dynasty. These structures at fifty-nine Zhijishi Street earned recognition as a Sichuan Provincial Heritage Conservation Site in two thousand seven. Following a comprehensive protection and maintenance project completed in two thousand eight, the academy opened these historic grounds as a public art museum.
